Dilemma

Christmas Eve comes only once a year, and Dilemma begins with being unable to meet on that night: the conflict between distance and the urge to hold someone. The official concept text imagines someone else laughing beside the beloved while the narrator is sunk in sorrow, then leaps to a rendezvous in a black hole, where even light is pulled in, and to meeting again after rebirth. Knowing they cannot be together at the cost of someone else's sadness, the narrator still makes a secret wish to Santa.

AHRES calls the scent an oriental green. Soft, close ambrette and musk face a dense, forceful green accord, and the brand says their opposition creates tension. An artist-made original soundtrack accompanies the fragrance.

Bergamot, lemon, violet leaf and leafy green open the pyramid, setting citrus tartness against the slightly bitter green of violet leaf. Green tea, one of the core notes, sits in the middle with herbal lavender and bright magnolia. The base is pared down to musk and ambrette, leaving a soft layer beneath the deep green.
