About Romain Almairac
Romain Almairac is a French Robertet perfumer who spent many years not only around creators but listening to clients and connecting them with creative teams. Rather than relying on a family name, he makes the practical translation of another person's language into material and structure a central strength.
Career
His father Michel brought fragrance close from childhood, but Romain did not begin directly as a perfumer. He worked in sales at Robertet for roughly fifteen years, observing collaboration among perfumers and brands. Around 2023 to 2024 he formally moved into composition and now creates within the Paris fine-fragrance team.
Creative Style & Philosophy
Years with clients developed an ability to hear not only the surface brief but also an expectation that has not yet found words. Close knowledge of Robertet's natural materials supports forms that reveal an ingredient without overdecorating it and allow clients to recognize their own story. He does not fill a relatively new creative career with inflated claims, building his voice through trials, dialogue, and revision.
