About Jennifer Jambon
Jennifer Jambon is a French perfumer at Argeville. Childhood happiness in the garden gave her an early vocabulary of herbs, soil, and growing plants; travel later widened that vocabulary into a way of composing not only recognizable notes but the atmosphere around them.
Career
For Molton Brown’s Navigation Through Scent project, Jambon spent a year travelling and researching destinations connected with the history of spice and perfume. The result was a group of fragrances that approached each place through emotion and sensory discovery rather than a postcard image. She has continued creating at Argeville, and her technical imagination has also been recognized in an international competition centred on sandalwood.
Creative Style & Philosophy
Jambon treats place as a layered atmosphere. Green, floral, aromatic, and textural materials suggest humidity, light, cultivated land, or moving air, while the formula remains coherent as perfume. Tea and osmanthus in *Lijiang*, tropical flowers in *Mahina*, and orchard-like fruit and foliage in *Apuldre* demonstrate how she avoids reducing a destination to one emblematic ingredient; instead, each material participates in the rhythm of a lived landscape.
