About Elia Chiche

Elia Chiche is a French perfumer whose work ranges from familiar food and everyday scenes to compositions involving woods, flowers and leather. She was among the collaborators who helped develop Versatile’s first collection, contributing to an approach that makes scent accessible through recognizable sensations rather than distant abstractions.

Career

Versatile’s founder records meeting the independent creation studio Flair in March 2021 and beginning work with four perfumers, including Chiche. She contributed to the brand’s early development alongside Amélie Bourgeois, Anne-Sophie Behaghel and Camille Chemardin. Auparfum also presents her as a junior perfumer at Flair in its profile from that period. These documented collaborations connect her work with the early growth of an independent perfume house.

Creative Style and Philosophy

Her credited compositions explore scenes such as the warmth of a café and the aromatic character of an Italian meal. Sweet impressions are balanced with roasted, herbal or woody facets, giving a recognizable starting point a less expected direction. Both individual and shared authorship appear in her work. The resulting fragrances invite an association with a place or moment while retaining the contrast and texture of a composed perfume.

Signature Works

  • *Croissant Café* — The Versatile roll-on composition connects coffee with buttery, toasted warmth.
  • *Rital Date* — A collaborative Versatile roll-on fragrance bringing herbs, citrus and the softness of pistachio into an Italian-inspired scene.
