Career

Goutal initially began her professional journey as a decoration and studio photographer. However, following the passing of her mother Annick in 1999, she courageously transitioned into the world of perfumery to carry on the family legacy, learning the meticulous art of olfactory creation alongside master perfumer Isabelle Doyen. After acting as the creative force behind numerous iconic scents for Goutal, she and Doyen co-founded "Voyages Imaginaires" in 2020, an independent niche brand dedicated to crafting fine fragrances using 100% natural ingredients and organic wheat alcohol.

Creative Style & Philosophy

Drawing extensively from her background in professional photography, Goutal favors a highly visual approach to creation, famously stating that she "uses all her senses at once." She finds profound inspiration in the joy of travel, nostalgic childhood memories in Aix-en-Provence, and comforting everyday moments, translating these experiences into scent with exceptional natural materials. In her ongoing craft, she continues to cherish the core values her mother left behind, maintaining a strong commitment to poetry, emotion, and the enduring power of dreams.
