Career

Raised in a family close to cosmetics and fashion, Medina studied biology and later earned a master's degree in cosmetic science. Work in technical and analytical roles gave her a deep grounding in raw materials and fragrance analysis before she completed Givaudan's perfumery training and became a perfumer in 2000.

Creative Style & Philosophy

She describes perfume as a magical vehicle for experiences already lived and still to come. Her practice seeks an olfactory DNA that belongs to the brand while making a genuine emotional connection with the wearer. Analytical and digital tools can expand the search, but human judgment remains responsible for texture, temperature, balance, and the final sense of reality touched by nostalgia.
