About Poison
Poison is a fragrance idea drawn from stories of danger and irresistible attraction. It names neither a single plant nor one extracted aromatic material. Instead, contrasts between scents can suggest something unsettling beneath a beautiful surface, giving a composition an atmosphere that extends beyond the smell of an individual ingredient.
Scent Profile
Bitter foliage, herbs, a cool metallic impression or dry leather can all serve as possible starting points for that image. The effect need not involve making every part harsh: a sharper edge placed beside soft flowers or sweetness may be enough to create a slight sense of unease. The character comes from the relationship between attractive and more austere elements, rather than one fixed smell that every interpretation must reproduce.
Use in Perfumery
A poison impression adds shade to dark floral, aromatic or leather compositions. Bitter greenery can tighten the sweetness of rose or white flowers, while resin and leather bring a quieter weight beneath them. Keeping the more pointed character within part of the structure allows floral appeal and a taut atmosphere to remain visible together, giving the fragrance a sense of tension without losing its softer details.
