About Lisylang

Lisylang is a natural fragrance material made by fractionating ylang-ylang oil and bringing selected fractions together. Fractionation separates an oil into portions with different characteristics; this material draws on selected parts of ylang-ylang III from the Indian Ocean region. The resulting folded oil concentrates a clearer floral expression while retaining a softer, fuller texture.

Scent Profile

**Clearer white flowers and gentler, milk-like sweetness** form its central character. Jasmine and frangipani-like impressions meet a lighter spicy lily facet and the more rounded softness of coconut milk. The relationship between those impressions gives it both a more luminous floral opening and a richer, smoother depth, helping a bouquet retain its brighter character while becoming fuller in texture.

Use in Perfumery

Lisylang adds body and a more diffusive character to floral compositions, particularly accords suggesting exotic white flowers. Its jasmine, frangipani and lily-like facets can connect the different parts of a bouquet, while softer sweetness gives those flowers a more unified texture. Supporting the relationship between a clearer opening and a richer floral finish, it can provide depth without relying only on a heavier impression of flowers.
