About Incense Fusion
Incense Fusion is a perfumery material in the AromaFusion range from CPL Aromas. It combines resinous amber impressions with deep fruit and spice tones, bringing several different aromatic qualities together within a named material available to the company's perfumers.
Scent Profile
A warm resinous amber character meets a richer leathery texture, with fruit and spice tones around it. These qualities can support an incense theme within a composition. In an incense-led setting, the material has also been described through an impression of silken smoke with a honeyed sweetness, connecting a softer texture with the warmer resinous expression.
Use in Perfumery
Its amber and leather aspects can contribute to base notes, while another approach places it at the opening with pink pepper, cardamom and olibanum. Leather, neroli, oud, iris and violet leaf can then bring woody and floral textures into the heart. Cypriol, sandalwood, musk, vanilla and amber provide further materials around that incense theme, allowing the different expressions of smoke, wood, flowers and warmer sweetness to meet within the wider composition.
