About Biluochun
Biluochun is a green tea made from young buds and leaves. The style originated in Jiangsu, China, and is also produced in Sanxia, Taiwan, where local cultivars give it a character of its own. Its small, curled leaves and fresh spring-like fragrance provide a distinctive subject for a green tea accord.
Scent Profile
Fresh-cut grass and tender shoots meet a fine floral quality and pale fruit impressions recalling apple or pear. Gentle bean-like or nutty facets can add substance, but the centre remains bright and leafy rather than strongly roasted or smoky. That combination allows the tea to suggest both a newly opened bud and a warmer cup, with subtle changes in emphasis instead of an abrupt shift from freshness into sweetness.
Use in Perfumery
A biluochun impression connects foliage with flowers in tea and green compositions. Violet leaf or galbanum can bring the plantation-like green character forward, while jasmine and delicate fruit accents extend its lighter, more fragrant side. A foundation of musk or soft woods gives those bright elements somewhere to settle, preserving a sense of tender leaves while making the finish calmer and more rounded on skin.
