About Sora Dora

Sora Dora is a French fragrance house created by Quentin Dorado and launched in March 2022. Its name honors his great-grandfather Antoine, whose journey from Portugal to Provence provides the starting point for a collection shaped by family memories, places and encounters.

History

Antoine was born in Loulé, Portugal, in 1902 and moved to Gréasque in France in 1920. The house's account follows his work in the mines, the garden he cultivated in Provence, and his later involvement with jasmine growing and perfume in Grasse. Quentin grew up with parents who ran perfume shops, giving him a personal connection to fragrance before he developed a house of his own.

Philosophy & Signature Style

The house collaborates with the independent composition studio Flair. Fruits, flowers, resins and woods provide contrasting textures across the range, while the inspirations extend from family recollections to landscapes and individual characters. The squared glass bottle and substantial rectangular cap give many of the fragrances a shared visual identity, with the inner vessel and liquid visible through the glass.

Iconic Fragrances

Jany combines apple and other fruits with a sweet pastry character. Mallow brings violet together with soft sweetness, while Ylop pairs roasted apricot and tea with the texture of black sesame. Gréasque, named after the Provençal village where Antoine lived, features mint, basil and woods.
