About NEMOHAMO

NEMOHAMO is a Japanese cosmetics brand developed by BIOSTYLE, part of the Keihan group. It was born at GOOD NATURE STATION, a complex in Kyoto’s Shijo-Kawaramachi district. Its name expresses the idea of using the whole plant: roots, leaves, stems, flowers and fruit.

History

The brand began selling skincare and toiletries in December 2019, alongside the opening of the complex. On 1 September 2026 it renewed the formulations across its range. Three fragrances for the skin arrived with new hair care products. Scent and texture, as experienced during everyday care, are also important parts of the brand’s approach to making products.

Philosophy & Signature Style

Its skincare focuses on Japanese-grown ginseng and plant materials from regions across Japan. The brand considers growers and places of origin, combining plant materials with technology. The perfumes also use synthetic fragrance materials, and their essential-oil content differs from one composition to another. Packaging in green and earth tones, together with lines representing the ground in the logo, extends the connection to plants into the visual design.

Iconic Fragrances

First Breath is a green-herbal composition recalling morning leaves. Naked Bloom moves from fruit into soft, powdery flowers, while Deep Rooted brings herbs and woods together around a forest image. All three are available in 10 mL and 50 mL, offering different scent characters to accompany different moments in the day.
