About Memo Paris

Memo Paris is a fragrance house founded in Paris in 2007 by Clara and John Molloy. It approaches perfume as a journey, joining the impression of a place with distinctive raw materials and a strong visual identity.

History

Clara, a Parisian poet with Catalan roots, and John, an Irish traveler and sportsman, brought their experiences of different cultures and landscapes into the house. The name evokes memory, and the collection has developed as an olfactory map of cities, islands, lakes and broader territories, with each destination offering an opportunity for a new composition rather than a literal travel guide.

Philosophy & Signature Style

The house’s idea of Travel Notes brings together the notes of a perfume and the observations gathered during a journey. Tea, flowers, leather, woods and resins become ways of suggesting an atmosphere, while illustrated bottles carry birds, animals, plants and architectural details into the same imaginative setting. Fragrance, poetry and visual art therefore share the work of evoking a destination, leaving space for a wearer’s own associations with the place.

Iconic Fragrances

Inlé connects a Myanmar lake landscape with tea and osmanthus, while Irish Leather brings a wind-swept impression together with leather. African Leather turns toward a richly spiced leather structure, illustrating how the collection changes its temperature and texture as its journey moves from one destination to another.
