J. del Pozo
A fragrance brand linked to Jesús del Pozo’s fashion world and his vision of women.
About J. del Pozo
The fragrance name J. del Pozo is connected to the fashion world of Jesús del Pozo. That fashion world also became a source of inspiration for fragrance.
History
Perfumer Max Gavarry said that Jesús del Pozo’s fashion world, his vision and his dedication to women inspired his work on the original fragrance. Historical articles and later sales materials use different names for the fragrance line.
Philosophy & Signature Style
Gavarry associated the fragrance with light and shadow, innocence and seduction. The fragrance expresses that contrast through a bright floral opening and a warmer base of sandalwood, incense and vanilla. Its name therefore points to a dual character rather than prescribing a single season or occasion.
Iconic Fragrances
The original Halloween Eau de Toilette, introduced in 1997, opens with violet, green lime and banana before its floral heart gives way to sandalwood, incense and vanilla. Halloween Kiss followed in 2008, drawing on the lively nights of Tokyo and Shanghai and bringing together bonbon, vanilla, red fruit and peach juice in a sweeter profile. Blue Drop takes a different direction: brand material describes it as woody and spicy, while its water-drop imagery suggests a gentle freshness; its listed notes include apple, lavender, violet, cinnamon and musk.
