About CLEAN

CLEAN began as an alternative to dense, complicated perfume, turning familiar impressions of post-shower skin, soap, laundered fabric, and water into fragrance. Accessible subjects are not reduced to one flat note; they are edited into simple structures that can sit easily within daily routines and close to skin.

History

Randi Shinder launched the first collection in 2003 from the idea of soap-like cleanliness. In 2015 the Reserve line added greater emphasis on sustainably sourced ingredients and support for farming communities. The operating company adopted the name Clean Beauty Collective in 2018, and the portfolio expanded across Classic, Reserve, water-based formulas, home scent, and body care while retaining fragrance as its center.

Philosophy & Signature Style

“Clean” is treated as an evolving standard for safety, ingredient information, packaging, manufacture, and sourcing rather than as a vague claim that everything must be natural. Recycled materials, wooden caps, reduced waste, and partnerships at ingredient origin make the process outside the formula part of the product experience. Transparent structures are also designed to layer easily, allowing a wearer to adjust the temperature and texture of cleanliness instead of accepting a single fixed interpretation. Familiarity is the invitation; careful material choices and proportion provide the craft.

Iconic Fragrances

  • *Warm Cotton* — Detergent brightness, air, and the heat of fabric leaving a dryer settle into soft musk and an enveloping sense of cleanliness.
