BDK Parfums is an independent fragrance house founded in Paris in 2016 by David Benedek. Rooted in a family history connected to French perfumery, the house draws on Paris, especially the spirit of the Palais-Royal district, while presenting each fragrance as a story rather than a simple scent category.

History

David Benedek is described by the brand as an heir to three generations anchored in French perfumery. BDK Parfums developed as a Paris-based perfume studio, working through collaboration, curiosity, and a search for meaning across perfumers, artisans, art, fashion, music, and visual design. The maison now extends its universe beyond eau de parfum into hair perfume, bath and body products, candles, and other scented objects.

BDK Parfums often describes itself as an olfactory library: each fragrance can be chosen like a book and interpreted through words, trail, memory, and imagination. Its style is contemporary but not cold, balancing emotional storytelling with precise materials and French craftsmanship. The Collection Parisienne explores Parisian moments and characters, Collection Matieres focuses on raw materials and their unexpected facets, and Collection Azur turns toward Mediterranean light, salt, travel, and mineral landscapes.
