About Bamford

Bamford is a British lifestyle brand founded by Carole Bamford in 2004. Rooted in the Cotswolds countryside, it encompasses skincare, bath and body care, clothing, homeware and spa destinations, with nature informing both the products and the settings around them.

History

Carole Bamford also founded Daylesford, the organic farm that shaped her approach to land and food. After reconsidering her family’s food and converting farmland to organic growing, she extended the same attention to what touches the skin. Bamford grew from the belief that what we put onto the body matters as much as what we eat. It expanded from care products into other areas of daily life and introduced its first eaux de parfum in 2019.

Philosophy & Signature Style

The brand values harmony with nature, mindful attention to oneself and the surroundings, an approach that considers body and mind together, and the preservation of traditional skills. It chooses natural fibres and materials for clothing and homeware, working with artisans to support handcraft. Gardens, woods and everyday encounters with plants also inform its scents.

Iconic Fragrances

Wild Meadow evokes a spring meadow, while Woodland Moss portrays the plants and earthy depths of a wood. Both eaux de parfum were composed by Lyn Harris and are housed in green glass bottles. Edition 1, a cologne from the grooming range, pairs citrus and vetiver with wood smoke and leather.
